I am with Hutchinson Kids Wrestling Club.The reason for the coaches' wristbands was to eliminate the congestion on the Arena Floor. This made it easier for the coaches and wrestlers to get to their mat and have enough room to warm-up. In the past, the Arena floor was so congested that it made it very difficult for the wrestlers to get to their mats and the workers to move from table to table. The rent for the Sports Arena is $2100, NO proceeds come from concessions, and with the cost of 17 referees, 2 police officers, 2 custodians and other expenses, there is very little profit made from this tournament. It was not our intention to make money from the sale of the wristbands but to ease crowd control. We are monitoring the web site and welcome your input. These thoughts and concerns will be brought to the attention of our tournament board for our 2007 Tournament.
