First off Dear Will, it is Little Badbo not Badbo. Badbo is not near as cute or Fabulous. And secondly, that was a way unnecessary comment because I already suggested a Man Crush List to deal with this. But once again, thanks for the constructive criticism. I should have known that I could count on you. And I might add that you will not be on the Man Crush List and you need to do something with your hair.

I think the word fabulous should be reserved for a sport other than wrestling. It is way too feminine!!! Reminds me of Brian(the dog) Griffin's gay cousin talking on Family Guy.

You know the answer to that one too.......................

Just like I jumped a mom this weekend for screaming "go sweetheart!" I told her yelling "rip his Freaking head off Sweetheart" would be better, or just stay quiet.

Ok Doug, I understand your sentiment but then it couldn't be the Fab 5 because obviously Fab means Fabulous.
Suggestions?
Don't forget about the Fabulous Thunderbirds or better yet the Fabulous Freebirds. I know you aint about to call PS Hayes, Bam Bam Gordy or Buddy Roberts feminine.

Ok, so I'll move my argument to the Chief. Chief, you have to change it to the Cinco Sickos, or the Maniacal Five, or the Five Freaking Animals, You'll think of something..........Or I could just stop watching Family Guy.

It's not Fabulous. It's Fab, which makes it OK.

It will always be biased speculation. Part of the reason that Cokeley, Moeder and Madl are in there is because of National events.

I agre with Lyle. This Fab Five deal is rediculous speculation. None of those 5 even won by a major decision in their finals matches at state. You know, I bet that Lyle wouldn't have been on a pre-nationals "Fab Five" list either if there was one back then.

Brian,

You think those 5 wrestlers are a ridiculous speculation? That would imply that they are not even close. Do you have a hospital gown on?

So they aren't good enough because they didn't win by more than a major decision? Did you know that all of those wrestlers on that list excpet Cokeley have either been in the same bracket or have wrestled their opponent more than once. The more you wrestle someone the closer it should get every time. Eventually they should figure out how to beat them. A prime example would be Trey Holden and Bradly Little.

I don't think anyone questions the five on the list, they only question the need to narrow the all class rankings down to five.

Chief is familiar with the wrestlers and recognizes their tremendous talent. Someone west of...say metro KC might have a list of 5 that includes DeShazer, Finney, Anderson, Floyd and Rogers, all undefeated state champs and deserving in their own right. This list would offend anyone from back east.

The point is, any list of five leaves out some very deserving kids.

I have done some research and have compiled some Data as to why these young men should stay the FAB FIVE:

Cade Blair:
3x High School State Champ(twice in 5a and once in 4a).
Undefeated Senior Season.
1 loss in his Junior Season(he split with Joey Dozier).
Sophomore Season he avenged almost all nine losses.
He has quality wins over:
Ryne Cokeley(3xer)
Joey Dozier(State Champ)
Sam Son(2x runner up)
Colten Picking(stop his undefeated season)
Colby Crank(State Champ)
Josh Rodriguez
Morgan Numrich
Fun Fact: Went from being JV his freshman year to being a State Champ his sophomore year.

Ryne Cokeley:
3x High School State Champ.
Has not lost to anyone ranked below him his past 2 seasons.
Only loss to a Kansas kid was Cade Blair his Junior season(3-2 in the third over time).
Only loss to a Kansas kid his sophomore season was to C.J. Napier(4-2).
Was in arguably the toughest 4a bracket in the '08 season:
1st Cokeley
2nd Sparr(State Champ in 2010)
3rd Anderson(State Champ in 2010)
4th Weller(State Finalist in 2007)
5th Slyter(State Champ in 2007)
6th Rockhold(State Finalist in 2007)
Has 2 wins over 2x state Champ Spencer Blew.
Has a win over Kash Biddle.
3rd in 2008 Cadet Greco Nationals.
2nd in 2008 Cadet Freestyle Nationals.
Number 1 ranked Junior in the WrestlingUSA magazine.
Fun Fact: The Wyoming Kid that Cokeley wrestled at the Big Horn Nationals had an undefeated senior season this year.

Taylor Moeder:
2x High School State Champ
Only one loss this season(very flukey)
Has wins this season over 8 STATE CHAMPS:
Jordan Basks (2x OK State Champ)
Oliver Pierce (Freshman State Champ in TX) this was pre season
Josh Haugen (OK State Champ)
Kash Biddle
Chase Nitcher (2xer)
Gage Harrison (MO State Champ)
Joseph Martinez (2x CO State Champ)
Brandon Charbonneau

Chase Nitcher:
2x State Champ
Has only lost to 2 kids his entire career (Jordan Keller and Taylor Moeder)
Has quality wins over:
Daniel Deshazer(2x state champ)
Brandon Charbonneau(State champ)
Colton Eck(state runner up)
Kash Biddle(state champ)
Ulysses Deshazer(2x state runner up)

Parker Madl:
2x High School State Champ.
Undefeated Senior season.
1 loss in his Junior season.
Very impressive Senior Season.
Signed with Oklahoma University.
Quality wins:
Linwood Peoples
Benny Armstrong(2x State Runner up)
Evon Royal
Matt Reed
Chaz Lawrence(State Champ)
Reece Conklin(State Champ)
Cameron Jesseph(2x State Champ)

Who has better credentials than these 5?

If by ridiculous you mean funny and entertaining than I agree.
If you mean as in stupid, illogical or asinine than I do not.
As far as speculation, that comment itself is ridiculous and asinine. I think that most everyone would agree that those are the "Fab" 5. It is just a matter of say selecting the next two or three. That might be speculation. As far as Senior Nationals, you can't just base it off of that. Certain individuals might have tougher weights, etc. I don't think that we have to have more results to determine the "Fab" 5. The only maybe would be whether to add Rogers or not. Just my thoughts.

Lucas,

List the criteria as quagmire has in your support of Rogers being #1. A sound bite or two is not convincing.

Im sorry I have no clue what you are talking about.
You want Criteria as to why he should be number one. Well um lets see 4x timer never beat by another Kansas kid. 136-3 record

That is the lazy list of criteria. It's also deceiving, seeing that he has lost to Mainz and Hentzen, both Kansas kids. Of the 136 wins, how many were at national tournaments? How many were state champions outside of 321A? Keep in mind that I have applauded loudly for Colt his entire career. This is also the appropriate thread to discuss the differences between his record and the FF, instead of the CR thread.
