There will be some Bronze clinics announced in the near future. There are two currently on the schedule.

Is a bronze necessary? The state tourney flier says copper/bronze. I always thought this meant either or.

A Copper will suffice but is only available on-line. The Copper costs more and is not as good as the Bronze (IMO).

The schedule is available by clicking the clinics button under the coaches section.

I thought there were going to be a couple of clinics put on in the Wichita area, but have not heard any more on this topic. Is there anything planned for the Wichita area?

I am pretty sure there will be a clinic on February 19th from 1:00 PM - ? hosted here at my church in Wichita. You will want to contact Coach Ed or Ms. Jenni for more information. The address is 2540 S. Meridian and it will be in the annex building of the church.

... and just as a reminder for our "new" coaches ... you actually will need two coaches cards in order to coach at the Subs and beyond!

First, you need a USAW Coaches Membership card. This card currently costs $35.00 and is renewable every year. One of the main benefits with this card is the liability insurance protection that it provides. And, it must be a Coaches card and not a participant card.

Second, you need a minimum of a Copper certification. However, in Kansas we are strongly suggest Bronze. In fact, the Bronze is the only course that we teach. Once you get your certification it is good for "life!"

See above. $35. From your local club, through Kathy Juby at kathyjuby@usawks.com or at a bronze clinic.

I will definetely pass on the information to some of our club coaches that were just recently asking me if I knew of any bronze clinics being put on in the area, plus I myself will be signing up for one of the two depending upon my work schedule. Thanks for the information!
