Now that I am finally able to comprehend boundaries (my fault for skimming and not reading) and the fact this event is for SENIORS only (see above in parens), the team of hammers is much more difficult to come by. It is true what was said earlier about SW MO having a tough of group of Juniors.
Been playing around with the MO State results and here are some possibles for the MO roster:
103 Blake Mullen Seneca 44-4 112 Joe Barnes Neosho 43-7 119 Eric Hughes Bolivar 41-2 125 ?? 130 Sam Zimmer Logan Rogersville 48-2 130 Nathan Fortner Seneca 45-7 135 Josh Mullin Seneca 34-10 140 Dalton England Carl Junction 37-12 145 ?? 152 Zeb Spicer Ozark 38-7 160 ?? 171 ?? 189 Levi Maggard Carl Junction 39-7 215 ?? 285 ??

A few of those should read State champ. Once you are a state champ, you're always a state champ. Burns, Jones I believe were champs last year. Just nitpicking you!!

Other thangs those boys in SWMO do. Some of them noodle catfish. But those ones are usually only the ones with to much family togetherness-- wink--wink.
In the summer time they like to bar-b-cue a goat. But if the game warden shows up he will usually arrest em for poaching a deere.

I wonder if Aaron Morgan could make the cut down to 130. He wrestled at 135 for the Fall Brawl. I think he would stand a better chance down there than at 140. He would avoid the big 4 in Anderson, Hood, Weller and O'Hara. Maybe Abilene could get Courtney Strauss to go 130 and Morgan could be 135. That would set-up a possibility of Morgan v. Nitcher in the state finals. Not sure if the move down would help Strauss though.
Just trying to spice up the board a bit.
Looks like one of Aaron's old teammates (Eric Mateo)and everyday practice partner for 4 yrs is scheduled to wrestle Nitcher Monday at the SEK/SWMO all-star event. After watching Nitcher at state this past weekend, I expect this one to be very good.

I thinks its going to be a great evening. The match ups are what they are. Coach Bradley and Coach Albright have put together the most competative teams available from their areas. I just hope all the guys show, the gym is packed and it is a fun event. I am sure there will be some snags this first year, but hopefully it will evolve into an event that is as popular as the other all star events around the state. Please come enjoy the event and let me know if there is anything that could make it more competative and fan friendly.

The real question is, will the SWMO fans accuse us of cheating on weigh-ins like the KCMO metro fans do?

In my opinion we should not lose a single match (especially 135).

In my opinion we should not lose a single match (especially 135). Like I said, I just took a stab...my in depth analysis consisted of comparing state tournament finsihes. For the MO side I took into account which Class the kids wrestled in more than I did their state finish. In a few cases, I had the opportunity to see both sides wrestle as I attended the MO State and the KS 4A State tournament. My 135 pick is a sentimental favorite.

The only matches that missouri might win are 112 and 119. Kansas should win by a landslide!
