Many wrestlers who are 14&Under in MO are 12&Under in Kansas. To date, no one can logically explain why Kansas continues to utilize the as of Sept 1 cutoff instead of the USA Wrestling's Jan 1. Most states use Jan 1 so there is usually some confusion when you have kids from out of state wrestling in Kansas. I have many times seen kids from Kansas wrestling in an age category below where they belonged because they were unaware of the differences in cutoff. On any account the coach notified us of the error in age and weight and we corrected it. This is why we posted the entries.
