Can anyone tell me what the Entry Fee amount will be for the District 1 South Subdistrict tournament this year?

The entry fee will be $15 with a $15 late fee if not received by the 25th. Flyers should be out sometime this week.

There is a late fee? Is the late fee per entry?

Yes, that is a per entry fee. We have some clubs that consistantly like to enter kids at the seeding meeting and send in late entries, so, hopefully this year we wont have that problem. If we do, the sub host clubs will be compensated for their trouble.

Heck they won't even allow us to enter wrestlers at the seeding meeting anymore. Even if it is found that they were entered at the wrong age or weight there are no corrections which I find unbelieveable. Correctable errors should always be allowed when they do not cause a disadvantage for other wrestlers or the tournament host. I like your idea!

That makes it kind of bad for the high school kids that can wrestle USA. Because a lot of them won't even start USA until the week after the deadline, and then they will get hit for $30.00
Maybe the deadline should be extended one week at least for high school kids.

The High School young men cant not wrestle in a KIDS tournament until the High School season is over.
Surely know their age and also could pick the wieght class just like everyone else.
I doubt the rules exclude them from signing up for a tournament and USA card.

The deadline has always been 2 weeks before subs. It falls on the same day as high school state. All my club has this year is high school kids. Every high school kid that I know, knows what weight he has been wrestling all year and what weight he will wrestle at subs.

sportsfan we allow one change at the seeding meeting and one only.
