It was a rough weekend for me as many of you know, however, it was brightened up a lot Sunday. The Swayz got a phone call Saturday from the wife saying that the baby was on it's way. Unfortunately he didn't drive to Omaha and had to find a ride back and after several hours of stressing he got a ride with the Finns (UCO) after the finals. He made it back in time as his wife gave birth to Lucas John Sweazy around 9am on Sunday. Congrats to Mommy and Daddy Sweazy!!!

Boy the trip to see my son's birth was crazy nuts!!! I carpooled to Omaha from Wichita to see the NCAA DII Championships and then my ride stuck around an extra day to have family time with Chenoweth who as we all know wrestles at a school on the East coast, so I hitched a ride with a family that had a spare seat (Finn family of UCO). Got to Wichita, hauled butt and arrived at hospital coasting in as my gas tank went dry! Little Lucas was born 45 minutes later! Helluva day!

AWESOME Aaron! Congrats brother! That's a classic story. If you would have had to run the last half mile, it could have been an idea for a movie.

Yeah and it would have been about a guy that can't catch his breathe for an hour!

Time flies when you are changing diapers...already been over a week. Uncle Curtis flies in from Newberry this week to see Lucas. Mom Kris probably crossfaces Curtis for Dad Swayz nearly missing childbirth!
