We are having a contest for the best Team T-Shirt at the State Tournament this coming weekend. The winning team will win a $100 Gift Certificate to Blue Chip Athletics.
Shirts must be turned in to the program selling table at weigh-ins by 7 pm on Friday 3x or bigger works for me ( just kidding ). The officials will be the judges and we will announce the winners Sunday afternoon.
Good Luck

Ned,
You'll have to wrestle the 3x shirt from Sean...can that be an exhibition match for Friday night? I think you might be able sell tickets!

I am putting my money on Smokey. I heard he was going to be wearing a maize and blue sumo thong in this match.

Ned, I agree you beat Sean with your shorts...however he does have a rather goofy pair of shorts that belong on the golf course!
Will...Sean will be in a navy and gold singlet...just so you know!

So let me get this straight. There won't be a freestyle exhibition but a sumo exhibition this year at kids state?

i don't think that's what everyone meant when they said "kansas wrestlers need to be more well rounded!"

I heard something on the radio while I was driving to work today that I didn't know. The original Greek Olympians competed in the nude, with the exception the chariot racers. After seeing this thread, I had to do a little research. One quote from the article I found was "Yes, that’s right – ancient Olympic sportsmen (all men, by the way) ran, wrestled, and fought buck naked." Please don't let this contest go that far. http://www.bspcn.com/2008/08/03/10-fascinating-facts-about-the-ancient-olympic-games/

So let me get this straight. There won't be a freestyle exhibition but a sumo exhibition this year at kids state? I heard it was Beeson vs Lucas Baker! Exhibition of course.

i think there should be a singlet competition. i know of one teams singlets that are really sharp and have had plenty of compliments about them all season. Thank you blue chip for doing the artwork on those singlets and even in Tulsa nationals we had several out of state coaches tell us how impressed they were with those singlets.

Ned, here is an idea for the t-shirt contest next year because it was rigged this year. And let's be real alot of our refs do a great job but we have a few that are getting a little old and don't need the added stress of trying to read all those shirts. How about setting up a table to display all the entries with a donation bucket next to each one. Ask the spectators to vote, (a dollar a vote) and the winning team gets the $100 blue chip gift card and gets to name what charity all the vote money gets donated to.
Well you're just a special kind of stupid aren't you?

Cool idea J. Dale I like that. Only problem I have is one club has 10 wrestlers another club has 30. That may create some problems. or hard feelings.
