You are absolutely right! I can vouch for your reasoning because I have seen it with my own eyes. My own son has had the desire and determination to get to state for the past eight
years and we have made it every year. The personal sacrifice and work ethic towards achieving that one goal is an extraordinary effort for those that are willing and want to have that edge to be recognized as one of the elite. Just getting up there is a feat in itself
and the rewards are a lifelong joy and experience
that can be spoken of for years to come. Some may say that no one deserves a trip up there after having been defeated in districts more than their child but to deserve something and to earn it are two different achievements. Start young, gain expereince and believe in what you do
and hard work efforts do pay off in the longrun.
