http://usawks.com/invites/100531SoPlainsCamp.pdf

This year's camp will split the wrestlers up so that coaches from each of the dual team staffs can work with members to prepare them for the national dual events. The Cadets will be traveling to Rochester,MN while the Juniors go south to Oklahoma City.

The month of June will be filled with wrestling! Southern Plains, Schoolboy Duals, Cadet Duals and finally Junior Duals. Take advantage of this camp and tournament if you plan to wrestle on one of these teams. The camp will focus on technique, match strategy and on the mat training. It will not be a conditioning camp. Please condition yourself now and come to the camp in match shape so that we can focus on making you a better Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestler.

Sign up today!! The goal is to top 100 wrestlers at the camp this year!!

Will you be taking the Schoolboys on down to Kids Nationals in Utah this year? Kyle did a pretty good job putting it together last year. The help from USAWKS was the only way my son and a few others were able to go.

The past two years there has been limited interest. I would like to see more than 20 kids sign up to get something going. There is a budget for this trip but the wrestlers (parents) are going to have to pay a portion as well.

I think there was 12-15 kids last year. We did not even find out about until after southernplains. With more notice i'm sure there would be a few more kids. i believe the cost was $250 per kid last year.
