Wrestling will not start until Friday. Juniors weigh in on Friday morning. Cadets and Kids start wrestling at 9am Friday. I believe the weigh in time is correct.

So can the Kids weigh in on Friday with the Juniors and Cadets?
Why did they separate anyway? Doesn't work well for out of
state Teams.

The changes were made at the request of Texas in order to better fit with their school schedules. The request by Texas was voted on by all of the other Southern Plains states, with a unanimous vote in favor of the change.

Junior Freestyle registration is on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM. The Juniors weigh-in will begin at 8:30 and will continue until all Juniors in the room have been weighed in, which should be at approximately 8:40 AM.

Do you have to make weight or can you move up or down? Does it cost to change weights? I probably missed it, but when does registration end? And, if you go to the camp, do they take care of registration?

You will be placed in the bracket that corresponds with your weight at weigh-in, regardless of what weight you entered when you pre-registered.

There is no fee for changing weights.

Pre-registration ends on June 1. On-site registration is available, but there is an additional $10 fee per style. Since there is no payment due at pre-registration, I recommend everyone go this route.

I'll let Will Cokeley respond on how camp participants should pre-register.

Southern Plains Campers can register online. The flyer states that the camp fee covers participation in the tournament if you elect to wrestle in one or both styles. When parents check in their wrestlers we will see if they have registered or if not you want us to register them. I will make payment to the tournament for all paid campers.

So you only register online, you don't pay online?

Thanks
Doug

And if you don't make the weight you register at, they move you up or down a weight class, like State?

got on trackwrestling to look at the results, just greco so far, but saw some interesting matchups. Saw that Ill. and Minn. had some wrestlers there. Saw Wes Harding's son in there at 112 for OK. Hope all the Kansas wrestlers found out where they stand regional-wise and are ready to prepare for the duals and then Nationals in Fargo and Utah for the younger ones. Train and prepare for your ultimate success. Remember top three at Southern plains earned extra spots for their states at Fargo besides points for the dual seedings. congratulations but the season is not over yet. Make your weaknesses stronger and your go to moves relentless.

Good Luck!
