Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Central Wrestling Technique Camp

Andover Central will be hosting a wrestling camp featuring the University of Central Oklahoma Coaches and wrestlers June 28 through July 1. Cost of the camp will be $50. The camp will be divided into two sections each day. Grades 1 through 8 will go from 1:30 to 4:00 daily and high school wrestlers begin at 5:30 to 8 pm daily.

Featured clinician will be Head Coach David James of Central Okla. Coach James just completed his 28th season at the helm of the Bronco's and is one of just 35 Coaches in college wrestling history to have 300+ wins. His teams have won an amazing 12 National Championships and he has been selected National Coach of the Year seven times.

Registration: Pre-Registration is encouraged by June 12th. The cost is $50 for all participants with a FREE camp t-shirt included. Camp is limited to first 70 campers so sign up today.

Camp Schedule:
MONDAY JUNE 28 – THURSDAY JULY 1

Camp Structure: We will split the campers into two groups: 1st through 8th grade and 9th through 12th grade. The camp will cover a high percentage of technique, solid fundamentals, and in-depth details of Folkstyle wrestling. We will also cover weight training, principles of weight management, mental preparation and conditioning techniques.

No we will take applications right up to the starting times. I am not promising shirts for those who sign up at the door but we will try to get them. I have to turn in the #'s and sizes on Monday the 28th in order to get them on thursday.
