Josh Lowe has released his preseason top 100 recruits for the class of 2011. This list is regardless of weight.

#1 is Destin McCauley from Minnesota.

I may be mistaken, but wasn't he wrestling in the Omaha Open this year as a JR? I think he may have run into some of our younger Kansas collegiate guys in the tournament. If someone has a link to that it would be awesome to see if it was true.

Entephobic is correct. He wrestled at the UNO Kaufman-Brands last year placing 2nd. I am not sure who he wrestled, if anyone, from Kansas.
McCauley is a four time Minnesota state champ. He won 103 as a 7th grader, 112 8th, 119 9th, lost 130 to Robby Fisher his Soph year, and then redeemed himself last year (I could be off on the weight classes.) He has many wins and I am pretty sure no losses to Dylan Ness. He is multi AA at Fargo winning 152 FS this year after winning the FILA Juniors Pan Am games in Nicaragua earlier in July. Flowrestling has some of his matches and his ladder drills. He is a member of the power house Apple Valley HS program and is a great kid to know as well.

Here is the link to the Omaha Open. Destin McCauley got 2nd in the 20U to Nicholson of Old Dominion. It was a pretty loaded bracket too.. I believe his teammate and buddy Jake Waste won the 165 lb division also...
