I was wondering if we can get someone with a little more time on their hands to find all of the Kansas Colleges and post their schedules on this form or another thread. My connection is horrible over here at times and I get booted a lot.

Northwest Kansas Technical College

Our schedule is still in the making. We hope to host 3-4 home duals and one tournament. All home competition will be held in the Max Jones Fieldhouse. On this date 15 wrestlers have either signed or verbally committed to NWT. More will follow. I am very pleased with recruiting results as we have signed some very high level individuals. 16 wrestling scholarships is the maximum allowed by the NJCAA. Our new team logo "Mavericks" is most fitting-tough and aggressive.

WOW. Some thoughts:

Did UCM get rid of the 1st semester and awesome Central Missouri Open?! Looks like nobody is attending from Kansas if they still have it.

Other things I noticed: Baker going to Georgia for an open and down to Texas for a dual. They also are going to speed a lot of time in Nebraska, so they will have been well traveled. By they way Calumet, who or where is that?!

Labette to the Cyclone Open caught my eye. Is that an attempt to maybe see Iowa Central and some of the Iowa schools early?

Waiting on NW Tech in Eygpt (that's what a buddy of mine in basic training called Goodland), Neosho in Chanute, and Newman in Wichita for their schedule.

By the way good to see some teams that never heard of: Calumet, Arkansas, Texas and others on the list.

Are the club teams like State, U, and Shocker U going to have schedules since they are non funded?

That Texas dual for Baker is against my son's team, Wayland Baptist University! I'll be going to Amarillo to see that one.

Calumet College is a NAIA Catholic college close to Chicago. Calumet College finished pretty close in total points at the NAIA nationals to Baker University's wrestling team last year. They are having a dual with Baker the day before the Baker Dan Harris Open so I would guess they are also going to participate in the open tournament the next day. It's nice to see Colby getting active again and trading duals with the other JC's in the state. I assume we will see them at the Kansas Cup this year too. Nice!

Will NW Kansas Tech come though? Coach from Colby is now the coach there. It would be nice to see a full 8 man bracket.

I know it is not a Kansas team, but Central Missouri does do a great job with bringing in Kansas kids. To top it off I think they have a great balanced schedule this year:

3 open tournaments, 3 dual tournaments, and 3 invitational tournaments (not counting regionals and nationals). In fact when so many coaches are cramming just the opens, UCM has put 3 consecutive weeks of Invitationals, which should in my opinion give them some experience going into 2nd semester. Hate to see them out of the FHSU open, but I suppose back ups will still go. They are hitting about every corner too....North to Iowa, West to Kansas, East to Indiana.

Also kind of odd was the fact they have 4 duals not associated with a dual tournament...that part isn't strange, but the fact that all 4 opponents will wrestle UCM in Warrensburg is almost unheard of. No road trip for a 1-on-1 dual or even triangular. Too be honest too they have a strong chance of going 3-1 in those duals, with Tiffin and SIUE being sure wins I would think, and Newman being a pretty tough match that could be a swing. I think UCO will probably find a way to beat them (in fact I don't think I have ever seen a result where UCM has beat UCO in a dual).

Great scheduling by new coach Justin Ensign! I think UCM may have a surprising year.
