Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Rankings Promote Interest

Nobody outside of Norton County and maybe a few others where there are more deer than people know Eric "Norton" Johnson so this isn't really an issue. Eric "Chief Renegade" Johnson is also the official KWCA ranker for 5A and 6A.

Why do you use terminology like "so called"? That, to me, is offensive. Eric researches and seeks feedback from wrestlers, parents, coaches, and fans. It isn't rocket science. It is just gathering of data and assembling the wrestlers in a logical order. Where the data is stronger the support for the rankings is greater. Eric "The Chief" Johnson's rankings are really not "his" opinion but the collaborative interpretation of actual results.

One question Billy, Are the KWCA rankings REAL or are they "So called" as well?

I did not mean to say that Eric has not put a great deal of time into the All-Class rankings. I was simply stating a fact that the KWCA does not endorse the All-Class rankings at this time. They do however support the Class by Class Rankings.

i know who eric "norton" johnson is and i really enjoyed watching him compete with drennan, pyle, and englebert. but i did see a deer in my front yard this week, so i don't count. classy kid and a great wrestler.

as a parent without a dog in the fight due to graduation i enjoy seeing the rankings, the beauty of them they don't mean squat unlike the bcs since the final outcome is decided on the mat, keep it up guys i enjoy chacking in to see who is doing well.

The rankings are great.....if your on, mom and dad shine....if your not, it is a great motivator for some. I say great job Chief, keep it up.
