We have extended the deadline for Sprawl to Wed December 1st at midnight.

We had a couple of clubs call us that did not have practice tonight that intend to come.

Thanks

If numbers stay at or near the same will you still run a split tournament format? We are coming from out west and would like to be home at a decent hour if possible.

Thanks
Jack

Is this a split tournament format? Last year we wrestled in the morning and then had to wait until the evening for the finals.

Just wondering also.

I read that, but isn't that what it said last year?

Not trying to be a pain. If it is a true split format, what time do you estimate the 8U to be over.

Thanks Again,
Steve

Once all the entries have came in our team will decide if we need to make modifications to tournament format.

With only just over 300 kids, is this thing still going to happen?

We have decided to keep the format two sessions...

We will start the second session immediately at the conclusion of the first session with very little downtime.

We have wrestlers coming from other states that are expecting to wrestle in the second session.

We also have some wrestlers that are wrestling in both sessions and by rule cannot wrestle two brackets during the same session.

We would like to extend an offer to any of our competitors to wrestle a second bracket in the other session at no expense.

Example:
If you have a wrestler in the first session at 6u and would also like to wrestle in the second session at 8u we will allow them to do so. If you are interested in wrestling two brackets please get in contact with me so that we can enter you in the additional bracket.

Our team has worked hard to put on a first class tournament and it is unfortunate that our numbers are not as high as expected.

Out goal is to give each competitor as many matches as possible in a timely manner.

All brackets with less than seven wrestlers in it will be wrestled as a round robin bracket. This would allow a bracket with six wrestlers in it the ability to wrestle five matches...

Once again we apologize that our numbers are not as large as expected but we will do our very best to put on the best tournament possible...

If you would like to contact me to discuss any issues or concerns please send me a personal message with a phone number and I will call you personally to discuss any concerns

Thank You
Steven

I wanted to encourage those who are planning to attend Sprawl this weekend that we intend to provide each wrestler with as much mat time as possible.

We intend to use a format for our 8 man brackets called an 8 man scramble...

The basic principle allocates the 8 wrestlers into two four person round robin pools. At the end of the Round Robin round the top two wrestlers from each pool are placed into a semi-final round with a chance to wrestler for either 1st or 3rd. The other four wrestlers are placed into a semi-final round with the chance to wrestle for 5th or 7th.

When the bracket has been completed each wrestler has five matches each.

As we stated earlier...we intend to do the very best job possible to have a great tournament for everyone....

I hope you are looking forward to coming...

Thanks
Steven
