Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Ks. Beast vs. Beast Thread

I am seeing different threads on this forum talking about matches of ranked wrestlers coming up or already completed. The problem is they are hard to follow. I was wondering if everyone that knows of one of these ranked matches coming up, could put it on this thread, and then the results there after. This would also promote the matches and meets, therefore more people attending. I do not have a kid in high school yet, but I would drive to see some of these matches if better informed. The first one that I will start this off with, would be the Match coming up with Jeff West vs. Perry-Lecompton, Cass Steele vs. Trent Robb. Cass has been injured the last two years, so he is not currently ranked at the 152#. This will be a good test. Please keep everyone posted here. Thanks

Great idea! List locations and times, I'd drive and hour from Lawrence to see some of these matchups! I am sure others from Wichita, Garden City, Columbus, or anywhere else would do the same.

In Gardner this Saturday is a potential Ryne Cokeley vs. Connor Middleton #1 & #2 All Class matchup at 152.

In Valley Center 4 All Class ranked wrestlers have a potential to collide with Sam Son, Rusty Yarrow, Chase Sanchez, & Ullyses Deshazer all listed at 152. This is on Saturday the 4th as well.

Goddard vs. Andover Central dual on December 16th should have Zac Gentzler against Kaleb Bonilla, and Alex Bontz against Trey Houlden.

at 160lbs possible matches of 4A Class ranked wrestlers:

At the Douglas Tourney on Dec. 11th there could be a pretty good brawl at 171.

Taylor Baird 1st in 4a- 4th All class
Dylan Penka 1st in 5a- 2nd All class

Middleton got beat in the Semis by Bridgeport from NE. Cokeley stuck Bridgeport in the finals. Middleton and Cokeley did not get to wrestle.

i left off Tree Chavez 6th in 6a. at 171 is also attending the Douglas tourney. Should be a fun bracket to watch!

The match above didnt happen, but the 3rd and 4th place match between Middleton and Woofter was a very good one with Middleton winning 1-0.

Bridgeport got a rolling start and hit a low single for a quick takedown. I think it ticked Cokely off that there was no caution. After an escape, he hit a headlock and looked like he enjoyed squeezing the snot out of Bridgeport.

Wednesday, December 8, Gardner vs. Topeka Seaman at 140 pounds will have Dustin Williams vs. Cole Schreiner.

Firehawk, where will this match take place?

Seaman High School starting at 5:00.

Besides the Williams/Schreiner match this week, does anyone know of any others around the state? This thread isn't just for tournaments.
