Just having fun folks. It is entertaining, but aggravating, watching someone complain about their kid not being ranked high enough. Like I said, Austin will be more than happy to settle that score. And if you win, I bet you he will shake your hand like a man, and not complain.

Pudgey you didn't answer my questions, where do you want to be ranked?

Yep calling someone a "pudgepacker", and challenging a grown man to a wrestling match with a high school kid is just good ol' fashioned fun I guess. I think Pudgey brought up the topic because Schumacher is the only one with criteria to the other wrestlers in that weight class. It's not like anyone has mentioned anything legitimate that should make him think otherwise. Everyone keeps using criteria from summer wrestling.

I guess I was assuming the Pudge was a mistreated wrestler, not given his fully earned due in the rankings.

You 321a guys have thin skin....

There was no hint of it having anything to do with Dylan Schumacher until you or someone else brought his name into it. Dylan would probably rather not have you guys tooting his horn. Like most big time wrestlers, they would rather do their talking on the mat..........

There is always post HS season kids' wrestling where a wrestler can hunt down the kid that he thinks he can whip, but hasn't gotten the chance. Or is there a tourney that both of these boy' teams will be at this year?

Chief,

At 189 Tyler Lowe of Eureka pinned Colt Castlebury of Douglass in the 3rd period. Lowe was trailing 7-6 prior to the pin.

Is hattabaugh's hip hurting him again? Because as joseph said, he did get pinned by a guy who I do not see ranked. I know that hattabaugh is wrestling up, but he should be able to beat him... it has to be his hip.

Wrestling up 11 pounds against a quality opponent is plenty tough.

Jake Hattabaugh wrestled well today at Clay Center.

He beat:
Landon Keiswetter
Colton Easterberg
Drake Lovvorn

Received OW of tournament.

All while wrestling with a broken nose.

Jake Hattabaugh is a very elite wrestler, and I thank this other gentlemen for making my point for me. Delancy has just been underestimated. I saw the match, and Delancy had the match in hand and was ahead in points before the headlock even came in to play. If Jake was having hip problems, I doubt he would have bumped up to wrestle a ranked opponent(Delancy is ranked #5 in 4a). Im glad that Hattabaugh himself acted with more sportsmanship, tact and grace than this gentleman did. It is my understanding that Jake is the one who wanted to bump up, and I greatly admire and applaud such a competitive sportsman. I doubt he would appreciate someone trying to make excuses for him.

Jake did wrestle very well today, but he beat Kevin Euring of Junction City instead of Easterberg.

Wasn't there, so didn't know the format, but how did they NOT meet up?

Found the results, they were in opposite pools.

Tough weight class for sure.

103- Gentzler and Vieyra are both studs and this is probably the best 1/2 punch in the state. As far as Hattabaugh, a tough competitor, not afraid to move up weight classes. A lot of Kansas wrestlers have moved up to take on tough competition at the risk of loosing including Hattabaugh, Reese-Wright Conklin, Cokely etc.

At 125lbs Humphrey Beat Wrestler 5-4, Friday night as they were in the same pool. Humphrey did loose to Nemer, but came back to beat him for a third place finsh at Eudora, with some big wins along the way. Wrestler is ranked above Humphrey, Just curious why, no big deal.

Tre made a great comeback by beating Hoehn and avenging the loss to Nemer. The bottom line is, the 11-3 loss to Nemer was a rough one. Especially right before Pursel beat Nemer 17-1. I had to ask myself if Tre was better than Bo Pursel and I felt that I couldn't rank him higher. I did move him up though and he will be #2 in 6A.
