Gardner 43- SMNW- 26

The Williams vs Blew match was a battle between two kids that are great on their feet. I believe it was 2-1 Williams going into the 3rd and Williams was down, hit a switch and road Blew out for the 4-1 win. This is not the last time these two may meet this year with both schools in the Holton tournament and then the state tournament. Right now the score is 1-1 and I predict the next time these two meet it will be just as great as the first two. Good luck to both of them.

Stokes went 125 and Whitmore went 130 both expecting to see each other however it did not happen. Stokes pinned SMNW and Whitmore beat Litvak.

Wrestling is a team sport!

Gardner Edgerton did what They needed to do to win two duals.

Hill from GEHS got a big win at 103 - fairly new to wrestling and gaining confidence.

Price did not give up a fall to Keller. Almost lost both arms to Keller but did not get pinned.

Fitzpatrick wrestled his first varsity match since his freshman year and had to face Pursel. He almost got out with not being pinned.

Zac Litvack worked hard to get a bonus point.

Stokes with a fall

Berends stepping in with a win at 135

Williams with a sweet ankle pick then a reversal in the third. Two stalling calls added the 5 point for Williams.

Keehn wrestled Hinkly tough. lost in OT

Long with a win.
Stockton with a Fall

Lansing 215 was sick and did not wrestle. Bummer but life.
Pacheco with the Fall

Gardner beat SMNW 43-26

The last match was 6-5 Blew. Still a surprise considering that Tanenbaum beat Williams 18-3 and then 7-1 at 135. Williams is a 135 pounder that bumped up to beat Spencer Blew. That is one tough freshman!
