Their is a transfer student that is flying under the radar. He is ranked in 5a but not in all class. I have not done the research but suppose to have been a placer at Fargo. He has one every match by pin so far. Very patient and big 103.

145 will be good too if it's a Collins Bontz rematch in the finals but #2 in 4A BT Ohara could throw a wrench in that.

He was on the North Dakota Cadet team last year and went 0-2 in FS and 1-2 in GR at 91 pounds.

Good Tournament with some very good Finals matches. 103? Who thought any of those kids would give Gentzler a tough match? NOT. 130 Johnson vs J Gentzler was Very good. Johnson wins. 145 Rematch of Collins vs Bontz. VERY good match. Bontz wins in OT. 171 Delancy vs Penka Very entertaining. Penka wins

If you are referring to the 103 pounder "flying under the radar" who I think you are, he has not won by pin over everyone so far. He beat Jacob Wilgers (Maize) at the Ark City Dual Tournament 6-2.

1. Johnson COL over Gentzler AC 6-2

Is this the Gentzler that was an undefeated state champ last year?

Headup, thanks a bunch. It appears that those Genzlers have about a half dozen young men that are ALL pretty good.

Thanks again for the details!

It is Gentzler and there are two of them in high school, Jake a Senior and Zac a Sophomore.

A third Gentzler brother, Gunnar, is still participating in youth wrestling.

Gunnar is probably going to be a beast if older brothers pick on him!

There is a game played at the Gentzler house and it goes like this, "Gunnar Wins"!
