IS A STATE PLACER RANKED AS AA OR A

The way I see it is what year is the wrestler on, top or bottom? If the wrestler placed on the bottom side and now is on the top AA for sure.

The other side of that is that if the wretler placed on the top side and is now on bottom side I would say A.

There are alot of placers that may make it to state but not place on the bottom side of the age group. When they are on the top they may place.

That is how I have always looked at it.

And if the placement occurred during a leap year or not.

I think AA is fine program and am starting a version for those who are addicted to wrestling chat forums.

I don't know about any of the other answers, but in all truth it depends on each tournament. Read the flyer, it will tell you what criteria standards they are using. Some want A as a state medalist-some want A as qualifier. It will vaty tournament to tournament.

In most tournaments will it really matter from AA to A?

I have never been at A but felt like I should have been at AA sometimes.
