We will allow you to bump up one weight class but their will be a $20 penalty. You will NOT be able to move down a weight class. Weigh ins will be conducted Saturday morning before Sub Districts start.

Qualifying tournament for the Kansas Middle School Dual Teams going to Indianola, IA on April 8-10
Members on any wrestling organization currently enrolled in 6th through 8th grade. Maximum age is 15 in the 2011 year.

Sweet! Can't wait. It was a blast last year as it was the first time my boy competed and went to Iowa MS duals. The tournament itself was lots of fun, and the trip to Iowa was a great experience for my boy. Don't let your wrestler miss out!

We need an official from each Sub district to volunteer to conduct Middle School State Weigh Ins from 8:30am to 9am at each sub. Wrestlers may also choose to weigh on Sunday morning at Smokey Valley HS.

This was the best event that my son ever competed in. Thanks to Will and company, the Middle School State National Tournament was fantastic. Garrett got invited on as an alternate after finishing 5th at the Middle School State Tournament and had a great time. I was a little concerned about the number of matches that he would get on the mat, but he ended up getting eight, six in the alternate room and two for Team Kansas. I wish I could have been there but Uncle Sam wouldn't allow me.

We will have weigh ins at each sub district site and a Sunday morning weigh in at Smokey Valley HS. Wrestlers will have to make the middle school weight, in a singlet, they will be wrestling in on Sunday.

Middle School National Duals information. The plan will be the same one we have used in the past. Take the top four from Middle School State will make up four teams, we will take 10 alternates. We will meet in Lawrence on Friday, drive to IA in vans, wrestle Saturday and Sunday. Meet back in Lawrence on Sunday. $100 deposit at the MS State Tournament, remaining $175 due on the Friday we depart from Lawrence.
