This should be a good dual if everyone shows up. I predict a 33-28 lead by Heights going into HWT!

119 - Dryden, KMC #3 vs Neal
125 - Maki, KMC #3 vs Newton

135 - Tolberd vs Hill
140 - Mills vs Schrimscher, WH #4
145 - ? vs Nguyen
152 - Schutz vs DeShazer, WH #2
160 - McDonough vs Reed, WH #1

Didn't Deshayzer get beat by a kid at Basehor tournamint? How could he still be number 1 overall?

You must be thinking of a different Deshazer as Heights didn't wrestle at Basehor. I believe that the rankings reflect where they are ranked in their class, not the all class rankings.

Deshazer's only loss came to Troy Bainter (former state champ) from Norton at the TOC in Newton. Chief has him at #3 overall and he is #1 in class 6a.

You would hope Heights would have suspended Deshazer for a while after his melt down at TOC. If damageing school property dosen't desirve some kind of penalty not sure what would.

I am sure that Coach Church punished Deshazer the way that he saw fit, I know that he did not compete last week.

Thats good to hearing, Kids need to be taught to respect your coaches, team and the sport itself. Sometime it seams winning comes first and it shouldn't

Well said all you Dap supporters.

If you have not had a 'major meltdown' as an adult at one (or more times)in your life, then I think you are a liar.

Finish well Dap! I'm confident you will.

Dean:
Who is "NAP"?

Daniel DeShazer Jr.'s nickname, for as long as I can remember is Dapper or Dap.

Richard, "NAP" is what I typed when I was too tired to type/think perfectly. My apologies to the whole DeShazer family. No disrespect was intended.

A friend pointed out my error to me in a kind way (ie. a private message). I was going to edit my post. Don't really have to know, but will go back and do it anyway.

Again, my apologies to Dap, WH, and any one else that was offended by my mistake.

Somebody like you stirring up an old incident on a public forum, about a great young man who had a momentary lapse. The young man has paid his penance. No need to put gas on the fire. Salt in the wound. Let him be. Ghez . . .
