Big thanks to Bryce Hubanks, Ashleigh Hubanks, the entire Maize wrestling club, and also John "the demon" Moses for putting on a great tournament this weekend! Great wrestling, great competition, and for the most part great sportsmanship displayed throughout the entire tournament! Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Missouri, and Colorado wrestling made for a great tournament! We will be back!

Great job Maize Crew! Had alot of great match-ups. There was some good wrestling to be had by all. I wondered what the need was for all of the police being at the tournament. I was soon enlighten to the reason. Some parents and coaches where not playing well with one another. It is sad that these few bad apples had to spoil a otherwise great day of youth wrestling! Bryce and crew handled it quickly though, the issue I have is with these adults and I use this term loosely that think getting in a kids face because he is not wrestling up to their imposed standards. The head referee that was at mat #2 was the best I have seen, this official takes it to a whole new level.
