Mason moving from 215 to 285 is interesting. He would of been the 1 seed at 215.

I noticed Justin Walberg from STA did not wrestle at EKL 285
But thought nothing of it.

Im curious as to why Dickman got seeded over wright at 119? Wright is a returning state placer, is it because dickman is ranked and wright is not?

Surely they met sometime this year? Check the result for JC Classic. or other events?

Wright was out the first half of the season due to the transfer rule so he did not wrestle at the classic, and since he's been back they have not met up. So maybe it was a common opponent that was the deciding factor.

What happened to Justin Walberg and why did Mason go 285, better chance of placing at state? Looking at the brackets, there really isn't a dominant 215 or 285 in 5A.

I would say Luke Bean from Kapaun has looked pretty dominant at 215...

Walberg was injured at SM North; ended his season.
