I just filled out my order form for 4A state tournament pictures. How many of you found this company's order process to be out of the 1980's?

1. You can only pay with a check or mail cash. WOW!
2. You order the pictures and they send them to the school. NO WAY!
3. The instructions were not easy to follow.
4. No online viewing and shopping cart?
5. How is this possible?

I have been buying pictures of my boys for 10 years all over the U.S. and this is by far the most cumbersome process I have ever experienced. How do they even stay in business???

Ummm.. I ordered mine the night of finals. Paid with cash but could have paid with check or CC at that time. And they are mailing to my physical address.
BUT I was just ordering the pictures of the podium and individual posed picture and not action shots... Thanks to our Coach and several moms I have access to a wide range of that type of picture!
Still haven't seen them but hopeful!

At 5A (don't know if this is the same business or not), I ordered one podium/individual shot & paid cash. I listed my home address. So far, no word, but it hasn't been that long yet. Guess I should start watching my mailbox.

I ordered at the table at 4A state also. I wouldn't get to excited about watching the mailbox too soon though. It was 5 weeks after state last year when mine arrived and had only ordered the podium & 1 individual shot.

I grabbed a form and brought it home. When I found no credit card area or place to put my address I called Lifetouch. They said to mail check or cash and that they would send my pictures to the athletes school.

I have been told that all of the vendors that KSHSAA uses are basically locked in because the process to apply to become a vendor is so cumbersome. The T-shirts are annually very basic and not very appealing so I asked Blue Chip why they weren't in the game and they said it was way too time consuming of a process and that the restrictions allowed very little room for profit. Same old system. Too much work to change it.

Will,
I am not a huge fan of Lifetouch and our school has changed to a different company that does all the above. However on a POSITIVE note: Our school wanted a picture for the trophy case when Hunter won it. When I called Lifetouch and did not have the photo info all I had to do was give them the weight class and state location they DONATED the photo for FREE to the school and they also sent it to my HOME address. Not many companies would do that.

Is this the company that took photos at Hays? If so, how can I get in contact with them?

Didn't realize this service was offered. I don't recall seeing a lifetouch table. I guess I spent too much time at the CiCis/TCBY tables to notice anything else. I would very much like to get a copy of the 112 podium pic.

If anyone has it...please post the specific State wrestling contact info for Lifetouch.

Thanks

C. Morgan
