I just rebuilt the brackets with bout numbers.
Bout numbers are subject to change until after weigh-in has closed.
They are only posted to give you an approximate times.

So if someone doesn't make weight, and noone has a 5th place district kid to take his place, they won't just keep the bracket number the same, and scratch it at the table? I better keep a set of BLANK sheets for our kids' numbers then, correct? I, along with a lot of other clubs, plan on typing the match numbers into our spreadsheet before we leave home, rather than sloppy handwriting them on Saturdy morning........I'm not smart enough to buy a cheap printer to travel with me..........

why not scratch at the table? numbers shouldn't need to change at all. doug i already printed the brackets, couldn't see a reason for changing the bout numbers. approximate time? i'm with doug i just must be too dum, to get it.

While we sing the praises of Trackwrestling: until we get brackets made out well beforehand, so we can sit at a computer and type out bout numbers, it isn't saving me, as a coach, any time if I have to fight my way into a spot where I can read the bout numbers at the arena, to fill out a sheet. Then I have to go and handwrite another 10 copies for the other coaches/dads. Either that, or the state could volunteer to make copies of our sheets for us, after we write out the first one??!!

Problem is, the union at the Expocenter would deny me my copies until I joined the union..........Now, go back to beating the prisoners..........

Kansas is right-to-work, so no Union at the Expo, and they have cameras at work, that stuff stopped before I started there, I swear. Make your own copies!!!

What you really need is a bout "list" instead of brackets. I don't know if TW is capable of producing a list as some other tournament programs do, but that is what you need. That way the match numbers for your entire team would be on one single piece of paper. Perhaps the tournament management could see that bout lists were available to the head coach of each team, prior to starting?

All I know is that you need a helmet, shoulder pads, a handgun, a knife, and a good pair of reading glasses, to fight your way to a spot where you can see the brackets so that you can write down your kids' bout numbers..........

Doug must like to take the fun road to get bout numbers. Most on the other hand use the easy way and use a smart phone or lap top. Ted Huck

You think your eyes are bad, I can't even read my wife's mind. If I could, I wouldn't be in as much trouble as I usually am. Oh Snap! I just figured out how to be a millionaire; invent some glasses that can help you read your wife's mind. I will have this concept patented by morning, so don't any of you try to steal my idea.

Perhaps the tournament management could see that bout lists were available to the head coach of each team, prior to starting? That would be good for the first round, but you will still have to go to the wall brackets after the second round, unless the brackets are pre-printed with match numbers, and no changes made to the numbers. Even then, a club with 20 kids, that is almost impossible to keep up! A good wife with wrestling experience is more valuable than any software program could be at that point.
