in defense of the holidome, i think they really tried to do the right things. the free breakfast was the best i've had in a long time. opening salon C for parents to relax was a great idea. better planning/ parental supervision could have made the pool a better place. over all i think they did well.

restaraunts as a whole grade c, not prepared, didn't seem like they knew it was going to be a busy weekend.

expo staff did a good job, prices are high at concession stands everywhere. we pack a cooler and eat in the parking lot.

capitol plaza calling and complaining about kids???? wow two problems here.
1- bad parenting
2- poor hospitality

kids shouldn't act up, parents shouldn't let them run wild.
they know it's a big deal, if they can't handle the crowd they should politely decling the $$$. end of story.

btw it was similar reasons from last year that caused the holidome to change this year. i for one think the changes were for the best. maybe next year they will staff the pool area with more than one teenage girl, and the problems will be better managed.
