Yet he is the best 189 in the state. His GPA didn't hinder him from competing, a transfer situation did.

I dont disagree there, but he has NEVER wrestled for a Kansas high school. IMO I feel you have to at least wrestle for a school in the state to be on the list. Not taking anything away from the young man, that is just how I feel.

It's also not my list so if Chief feels he needs to be on there, then so be it. Just giving my 2 cents.

. It,s true!! Not a cheap shot . Didn't see their final match at the sr classic, but from what I heard, after bainter cut him to go for the win it was more of a track meet then a wrestling match. Bainter should of just skipped the whole thing if cheif wants to bias the big schools. Totally disagree.

Pretty similar situation to the other match just reversed roles. I would bet my next paycheck everyone complaining would feel differently if Deshazer had beaten him at Newton and then Bainter came back and won the senior classic....

i was there, and must have missed the whole track meet part. since bainter did show up to wrestle, i would bet that he wouldn't cry over the match either. he gets props for putting it on the line.

What up with medina being taken off the all class rankings he had a total of 4 losses 1 by Tanembaum 2 by Locke 1 by a Colorado State champion and he is not in the top ten? he pinned the 5A state champion in 22 seconds into the second period at derby he had a total of 21 pins for the year out of 29 matches wrestled at state with a torn hip and still not in the top 10

Exactly! The big school bias is a joke. Daniel won the last match two months after the first match at Newton. He did it at the same weight class. If Bainter had lost at Newton and then beat Dap at the classic, I would have had Bainter #1.

What isn't biased is the fact that the little schools had a lot more kids step up and put it on the line. And next year if it is the opposite way, I'll point that out also..........

You can run this in all the directions you want Cheif, but you have no good explaination for the score of the big vs small , other then little vs little didn't count, when in fact, the bigs didn't step up and compete, but you sure didn't put it that way. If you want credibilty then be honest and fair, and state it like it is.

As far as the 130 lbs match I can accept that answer, just not on the entire dual when you have bigs winning, but not counting four matches the littles won, due to lack of competitors from the bigs. Its not the little schools fault, the bigs didn't have anyone step up. State Champions or not!! As advertised it was suppose to be a Sr. Dual big vs little. Count 24 points for the 4 weight classes they missed, and maybe they will up their game next year and find someone. Instead you cater to them, and change the rules.

I agree with you that the bigs failed to step up! That was a big letdown.

Now...back to the beach. I will talk to you guys next week... smile

Chief - Don't lay out on the beach. Some animal lover may think they're doing a good deed and try to roll you back into sea. laugh
