Andrew Dunning (East Kansas) 3rd grade Hwt. Champion

Tyson Toelkes(Shawnee Heights T-Birds) 9th grade Hwt.Champion also most outstanding wrestler 9th grade.

Caden Howard won 3rd grade 50 lbs.

Congratulations to all the Kansas Champions at Brute! Allen got home from elementary duals and looked up his buddies. Way to go Kendall, Kameron, Bryce and Aaron. His team mate from Salina also took 3rd. Good job Gunner! Just goes to show we have excellent Kansas wrestlers!

Levi Green of Trailhands, 4th Place, 6th Grade 70.
Brandon Brownlee, Sabetha, 5th Place, 5th Grade 75.
Kamden Brownlee, Sabetha, 3rd Place, 4th Grade 70.
Kamden lost 8-0 in the Quarter-Finals and came back to win 4 in a row to place 3rd including a come from behind 7-5 win for 3rd over the kid who beat him in the Quarters.
It was a pleasure to coach Levi at Brutes, I appreciate his dad asking to me to do it. Also a big thanks to Coaches Gfeller and Gonzalez of UMS for helping out with my boys when they were on the mat at the same time. It has been great working with UMS this season, have a great spring and summer.

Riley Smith beat the Missouri state champ for first 4gr 92lb.

Silver Lake came home with 2 Champions. Kai Allen followed up his Kansas State Title with the Title in the 2nd grade 49lb division. Daigan Kruger brought home the title in the 1st grade 61 lb division. You might recognize the Kruger name in Silver Lake athletic history. His brother Keenan just led the High School team to the 3A State Title. His dad Dave was a member of Bill Snyders Football team @ KSU. His cousins Shannon and Kyle Kruger were both All State QB's @ Lake. His Uncle is Lon Kruger the 2X Big 8 Player of the year @ KSU and new Head BB Coach @ Oklahoma. The first Kruger on the mats!

Finishing 3rd was Silver Lake 7th Grader Alex Cavanaugh. He lost first round to the eventual Champ, then won 5 in a row to finish 3rd!
