Austin Haake, Pittsburg, Kan., has signed a letter of intent to wrestle at Bethany College for the 2011-2012 academic year.
Haake comes to Bethany from Pittsburg High School. He placed sixth at the state tournament and is a four-time state qualifier. Haake is also a three-time all-conference honor winner.
Head Wrestling Coach Jacob Marrs said, "Austin is an experienced Pittsburgh wrestler who has had great coaching throughout the years. We know he has a lot of skill, which should allow him to compete at a high level collegiately. Austin is a great addition to our program."
Haake is the son of Chuck Haake and is undecided on his major at this time.
Austin Haake, Congratulations on your high school wrestling career. Good luck next year with your wrestling and academics at Bethany College.
