Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Team Kansas open room night at Andale next Wednesd

Every Wednesday from 6-7:30 pm until the regular season begins. We'll do conditioning, drilling, and live wrestling.

It will be at the Andale High School wrestling room, where Brawlers have had open room nights.

You might post your name/age/weight if you plan on attending, so we know if there will be a partner for you.

Chris Bowen is going to do some digging on entering us as Team Kansas at some of the preseason tourneys, including Kickoff Classic. If you are interested in this, let Chris know.

If we get a good crowd, and have to go in two groups of live wrestling, we'll probably go until 8pm.

Make sure you have your USA card.

Doug, do you anticipate many high school wrestlers attending?

I got a message from Taylor Miller today saying he'd probably be there also.

We hope to anyway.

Dan Gentzler talked about wanting to have a place for Zach to do some banging as well.

I would say if you want to come, a nd want to make srue someone will be there, post your name and approximate weight, and that way everyone can see if someone will be there for them.

Everyone is welcome. I think there will be a good turn-out in high schoolers. Every week will get better I believe. So let's get it started and hope it improves every week. See you all there.

Kaden Kretzer and Tim Prescott will be coming from McPherson. Both are probably weighing between 125-130.

Liam Eck from Ellsworth is planning on being there. Weight is apx. 165#.

Looks like about 20 high schoolers. Maybe heaviest here is around 175. Lot of tough kids and good matchups. There is proly 20 elementry age boys here too. Great turnout!

Great turn out with a lot of tough matchups. Bout 40 kids, half of those in high school. Doesn't look like anyone over 180.

Great group of guys tonite! As tough of a room as you will find from 100lb. -170lb. Everyone left sweaty and tired. A good room of younger guys too. See you all next week.
