I understand you saying they are close, but the way i see it Rory has criteria over Eggers. Rory may have not had the state performance he should have had, but his aggressive, constant motion style was and still will be difficult for any competitors at 160. The only other common opponent that i know of his blake hill. Rory had three wins over Hill in which he controlled the entire match, while Eggers has only one victory over Hill.

He was in a tough weight at the state tournament. To get a medal was great. The top 4 kids were studs.

How is 106 alot different than any other weight? Well although it is three pounds heavier than 103 I have two observations: 1. Teams will be open at this weight more than any other weight class. 2. It will be occupied mostly by freshmen.

98- 103- 106 a lot of freshman have and will start out at this weight class.
The open weight class for the year will be either 220 or 285.
Unless we can convince the football gods (fb coaches) that wrestling actually helps with football.

Where is Zak Hensley hiding at on the rankings. I see Dulgarian ranked as #2 all class but not Hensley anywhere in the top 10. Two of the best matches I watched last year were these 2 battling it out. Dist 1 finals match 1-0 Dulgarian and state finals was 3-0 Dulgarian.

What about Taylor Watkins. Talk about good matches, he beat Dulgarian at East Kansas Open last season.

I'm going to take a guess and say Watkins in either at 132 or 138 which are both pretty loaded. However I look forward to seeing this class make some noise this year! IMO one of the best group of freshmen Kansas has had in awhile.
