Hughey is not Ranked for some reasons.. #10 Brady Heincker won by fall over Hughey and at the Rosehill Tournament Hughey's place was 5th, while Heinckers was 2nd. However #8 Luke Lee did not place in this bracket and Hughey did.

Hughey got 4th at that tourney. The next month he won a bracket with Watters, Lemon and Ochs in it.

A few tweaks here and there:

The biggest change I see are the two WH wrestlers moving down a weight:

170 -160 1. Matt Reed - 12 - WH - 6A
182-170 6. Ulyesses DeShazer - 12 - WH - 6A

Expectations are not what I would call criteria. But it is your list!

Initially it was because of the 1-2 at state last year. The win two years ago can't hardly be considered. I will look at that for the next update.

The triple crown over dustin Reed isn't really saying much because twenty seconds in to there greco match Reed broke his leg and they didn't wrestle in freestyle so that isn't much criteria.

Agree Peterson should be ranked.
If you look at his "body of work" I would think he would be. He is a state medalist, a kid's state champ and a FS/GR champ.
To me his 1-2 at state this past spring shouldn't keep him off the list. Keep in mind those losses were to T. Humphrey who beat Beasley in the finals and a 1-0 to Millsap who is ranked in Chief's beasty 138 class. Although the Haralson win was two years ago which is a factor I agree, I wouldn't say it can't be considered, or shouldn't be. It is not like Haralson wasn't good then because of course he was as he got 2nd in state that year. Peterson has other big wins as well which collectively speak to his over-all potential and position within the hierarchy of Kansas wrestling which is what the all-class list is about I would think.
Of course the quandary is where do you put him? Or should I say, who does he bump? Everyone at 126 is legit. The biggest thing to consider I think is he did beat Maki at kids state and he did FS and GR and wrestled at the junior duals with Maki. They have surely both improved since state. I am certainly not saying that Peterson is better or could beat Maki now, but they are obviously close and comparable.
Of course Chief is the authority and this is just my opinion.

Who at 132? He lost to Millsap in that 125 bracket, who lost to Blanco. Blanco is ranked 10 at 132.

although Jonathan Peterson did go 1-2 at state last spring he did beat Maki at kids, 3x FS/GR champ. to sum up his 2011 season he took 1st at emporia with a pin in the finals, Pinned Ross Whitmore at BVSW Tourny, He also beat Whitmore again for 3rd place, (Whitmore beat Caleb Seaton a this tournament) Then at regional he lost to Beasley 1-0 in the finals. He also wrestled at junior duals, and competed at fargo freshmen/sophomore year.

I should have waited for your post. I just finished going over his season and I am working on that weight again. His losses to Vesta and Ryan Hodges were early. It was nice to see him join us in OKC though!
