Seaman was very close to the Top 10. With six SQ's and a 2X placer back, they will compete well.

As things shake out weight wise...Seaman will potentially have eight 2010/11 SQ's in the line-up along with 2X State Placer Bryant Guillen at 160. We are also excited to have AJ Brown back, who was a 2009/10 SQ at HWT. Brown, a senior who chose to play indoor club soccer in 2010/11, is expected to fill our 220 spot this year. Two in the potential starting line up had over 30 wins and three others topped 20 wins in 2010/11. Coach Kelly has things moving in a very good direction for the Vikings.

Seaamn opens the season at the Gardner Invitational...so they'll get thrown into the meat grinder early, with other tough December dates at Clay Center and Emporia.

I think Javier and Quinton Harrison will end up at 113. Harrison is wrestling at 113 at the Douglass Tournament this weekend. Should be fun!

Lee and Suhr are still battling it out in the practice room. We are not sure who will end up where, both have wrestled at 132 and Lee will continue to wrestle 132 this week.

WOW!!!! I can't remember when the last time Newton was ranked #1. Probably back in the day when they had that Outstanding Coach name Jack Thaw. Good job Newton! Now just try to stay healthy and continue to work hard, it's paying off for you all. Big Ups to that other Great Coach - Jude Wilson. Way to keep them boys motivated, grounded, and humble. I'm truly excited for the season.
