I have had quite a few people contact me regarding the duals. If you are interested please let me know. The plan is to have a meeting sometime during the State tournament to give some details. I am looking for kids born in 1991 or 1992. If you know of a tough kid who might be interested in this tournament then let me know

Barry My son is 72lbs born in 91.He has 3years freestyle-greco experience.We are planning on attending So.Plains camp.I have a few questions.Do you have anybody at 75lbs.yet? Also if you get beat at So.Plains by another kid at the same weight will they still wrestle the nat.dual? and who would they wrestle?Thanks Coach Schmidtberger.

Coach Schmidtberger - For individual questions on who we have at what weights and etc... email me and I will answer them. We are going to hold a meeting at the State tournament and I will answer most of the questions there. Once I see who all I have interested in the duals and at what weight then we will make a decision on whether to have wrestle offs. We will try to take as many kids as possible. Most likely we will have a few weights where we have more than one kid but with the number of matches we wrestle and the fact that we can move kids around somewhat I am confident that everyone who goes will get plenty of matches. Once we get the team formed ... which will be before summer starts ... then you are on the team. Noone will be able to beat you out. As I have said before ... the team is going to be formed based on who shows early interest and makes a committment to go by paying their deposit. If there is a great wrestler who waits until the last minute he may miss out. The primary goal of the Schoolboy team is not to form the toughest team possible (although I would like to accomplish this). Rather, the primary goal is to expose the kids who want to do fs/gr to the team dual concept so that our cadets and junior teams will get better.

Barry - I had emailed you just as soon as you posted the information that we would be interested in competing for a spot on the team. Another parent said they got a confirmation from you, but I had not received anything, so have tried to email you again but it keeps getting returned as undeliverable. At any rate, if you did not get the original email, Taylor Moeder - Colby is interested in the 75lb weight class. He will be attending the Southern Plains Camp and competing at the Regional as well.
