To all wrestlers,officials,coaches,fans,parents.
I want to apologize for my actions at the state meet. I did not act how I have been taught to act after a loss. I am sorry to Chance and Dylan who I consider my friends. I will do a better job of controlling my emotions in the future so I don't embarrass myself, coaches or team in the future.
Sincerely, Channing Williams Coffeyville Kids Wrestling Club

Very nice post and glad to see it made. While I myself didn't see what occured, Randy Hinderliter, Mike Furches and others have always told me that it takes a great man to come clean and admit when he was wrong...I applaud you for that.

Channing,
I was glad to see your post on the forum. I know how disappointing it is to lose matches that you knew deep down you could of won, but taking your disappointment out on the ones that love and support you isn't good either.
It takes a big man to fess up to his mistakes and a bigger man to do it in public like you have done. I have always enjoyed coaching you and always look forward to seeing you next season.
Give dad and mom a big hug and tell them your sorry, I can assure you it goes a long way. As for your coach, next time I see you a hand shake will do the trick.
Keep your head up Channing, you have many great years ahead.
