I personally would say Kansas as a state in Junior, Cadet, Schoolboy and Middleschool duals ranks from 7th -16th consistantly. Just my observation from past years. It varies from year to year when a state has a collection of gifted athletes - but Kansas represents well on the national level and every once in a while can compete with the best states in the country. Can we keep improving you bet.
Those tournaments are not a true measurement of all 50 states. They are either USA or AAU sanctioned and many, many HS wrestlers do not compete outside of the HS season. I would say we are in the middle, not in the top 10 for sure. PA, OH, IA, CA, NJ, NY, WI, MI, MN, IL all are consistently better than KS.
