Mark your calendars now and plan ahead to have a representative present -

The Kids State Body Meeting will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2006 at the Salina Holiday Inn. More information will be mailed out after the Exec. Council Meeting is held in September.

If you are interested in a motel room on Saturday night, they have reserved a few rooms
for us. Call the reservation department of 785-823-1739 and identify the group as KS Kids Wrestling Club to get these rates. Rooms must be reserved by October 10, 2006. First come / first serve!

what are the hot topics this year

I suspect there will be an agenda posted in the near future.

The Executive Council Meeting is scheduled for September 17th. An agenda will be posted and mailed to each club once we have met.

Will the individual districts release their financial records at this meeting? Word on the street is distict 1 may have some explaining to do.

Each district will hold a district meeting prior to the state body meeting. The financial situation for each district should be discussed at the district level not at the state body meeting absent some exigent circumstance.

Smuggler, do you have anything important to add or are you just trying to stir up some crap. Don't hint around a subject, have the nerve to discuss it or leave it alone.

I also heard that there was a strong possibility of misappropriation of funds in district 1

What start time are we looking at?

In the past, it's been 9:30 AM!! However, an exact start time will be decided at the Exec. Council Meeting later in Sept.

Leanna is there any reason that this and all USAWKS open meetings are not listed on the Calendar? For it is anyone interested that may listen/attend they just cannot offer any comments at this particular meeting is that not correct? Please advise.

While I personally would like to see as many club members present as possible, there simply isn't room for even the representatives of each club in that room. I WISH our executive council would put out the bucks to get the big meeting room next to where we meet.

It is always not about money, sometimes the room is already booked. You do make a good point and I will bring it up at the meeting on Sunday to see if we can work it out.

Every year I make a point to see if it is being used and it isn't. It sets there empty while we can't seat everyone in the other room, let alone have good acoustics for hearing the speakers.

Just wanted to know when is the earliest 1 can host a tournament in Kansas I noticed Oklahoma has 1 next week in Altus.

Thanks to whomever responsible for getting the bigger room this year! It made for a much more pleasant meeting than in the past.
