Olsen is too technically advanced for anyone in that weight class, of any of the kids there, i would have said that hood had the best shot at him.

I like the Tebow commercial about how people always told him he could not do stuff. TJ is along those same lines. We will see how everything shakes out once actual matches start. My guess is you will be suprised.

I am sure Olsen and Bryce Shoemaker have wrestled 100 times against each other in the past at Park Hill, Mo. I am almost certain it would be one or two points either way.

REMINDER!

After the State tournaments are completed and the final All-Class ranking is posted, I will be offering invitations (starting with the #1 ranked wrestler) to join two All-Class Dual teams for a trip to the mountains in Denver, CO!

We will compete in the Dual team tournament on March 16th and then compete in brackets at the Rocky Mountain Nationals Folkstyle tournament on March 17th and 18th.

Last season we took 29 of our best wrestlers to this event, including 17 state champions. We won the Dual team championship and put 6 wrestlers in the finals in the tournament! Our hope is to take the best wrestlers that our state has to offer on this trip.

Best wishes to ALL of our Kansas wrestlers this year!

Just watched the Leavenworth Challanger. Hunter Haralson lawrence looked real touugh--beat Olson from Lansing 5 zip--always in charge. Thought Tyler Willis at 160 (Shawnee Heights) looked awfully good. Nathan Butler from LV is awesome--tall and rangey--can see him as a D1 linebacker at 260, or as a guard or tackle--off or def-at 310--lots of frame to grow. Bo Pursel is Bo Pursel--calm, cool, collectesd and piles up points---still looks like a 112 pounder. E. Mason, STA 285, is deceptive--doesnt look like much--just kicks a--.

So Isaac Dulgarian is first all class at 120, but only 2nd in 5A. How does that work?

As was stated correctly by wrestle nuts, the AC rankings are updated as new information comes in. The KWCA class rankings are released each Tuesday. Expect to see Javi at 113 next update.

126 rankings is a joke watters at 7 best in the state i don't think he will lose a match all year even though they wrestle in oklahoma multiple times this year and hunter haralson #1 you got to be kidding me he didn't even make it to the finals last year and i believe watters has beat stokes there only time to meet up but renegade def has some favorites to make this list and thats all most of these are made up as his favorites not by wrestling victories. and the olsen kid just because he got 2nd in missouri is he supposed to be the greatest he came to kansas and got beat in his first tourny don't sound like 2nd overall just yet

Why don't you get your facts straight before you start rambling. Stokes beat Watters the only time they have ever met up at Newton last year. Michael Olsen beat Austin Hood at the Fall Brawl earlier this year. Then Haralson beat Olsen putting him at number 1. However, I do agree he should not be number 1. If anyone should be then Dylan Schumacher deserves to be at the top of that list. None of those wrestlers have criteria over him.

126 is a tough one.

Watters 3x runner up, loss to Stokes
Hood 2x state champ, loss to Olsen, win over shoemaker
Olsen MO runner up, win over Hood, loss to Haralson
Haralson did not have a good state tournament last year but has wins over Hood, and Olsen
Shoemaker has win over stokes, but losses to Haralson and Hood and Shumacher.
Shumacher 3x state champ, has win over Shoemaker.

To make it more complicated, Watters has more losses but wrestles a tougher schedule, Schumacher has the fewest losses but also fewer marquee wins, Hood is the most accomplished nationally but at a lower weight, TJ won state at a the highest weight of any of them, but just got beat by Bryce who has the most common losses. Wow...I can't figure it out.

Eudora will sort out Hood, Haralson, Shoemaker and Olsen. Watters and Haralson will hopefully meet at Newton, and Schumacher, Olsen and Shoemaker will be in the same bracket at Bobcat.

Good luck to all of them. I gotta get some asprin, my head hurts from typing this and trying to figure it out.

I'm a Colby Watters fan! I INVITED him to wrestle for our national team in OKC.

Last year at Eudora:

1st: Hunter Haralson (Lw)
2nd: Austin Hood (Lb)
3rd: Bryce Shoemaker (Bn)
4th: Tyler Dickman (MV)

Nasty, Read Badbo's and Quag's post and then YOU rank the top 7 at 126!

Keep up the good work Chief. I don't always agree with you, but I respect you. There is a right and a wrong way to give input. And lastly, if you do have something to say........put a name on it or sit back and shut up!

How is that working out for you? smile
