BigHorn is one of the first "Nationals" of the year. Last year was the first year for it, and it was small but the competition was good. It will continue to grow just like Liberty and Dixie have. Denver is a long way but the bus ride is a blast for the kids. (not quite as much fun for the adults) but overall it was one of my son's most enjoyable trips that he talked about all year. It is worth the trip, but makes for a tough week as you get back at 6:00am on Monday and then the Cliff Keen kickoff is on Friday.

My personal opinion is that if you are going to haul your kid on a national level BigHorn and CliffKeen Kickoff give you a early season burst of high competition and let you know where they are at and what they need to work on.

If you don't want to go all the way to Denver you can go to Catoosa, OK. A very tough OK tournament. Either will get you some tough matches. Denver was a great experience for us however.
