Don't have many details but I heard that Gardner won the dual.

TJ Stokes beat Hunter Haralson 3-2

Austin Keehn beat Andrew Denning 7-2.

GE wrestled well last night!

Big wins from Stokes and Keehn! But up and down the line up GE wrestled well - kept from being pinned and going for bonus points.

Hills 106 refuses to be pinned even though over matched was the first "win" Then GE won 8 more in a row.

The 6 that Pesek got at 170 was probably biggest points of the match in my opinion. Great night of wrestling and an awesome atmosphere under the mat light.

The lions were moving people up thinking they could get an easy win agains the freshman Pesek at 170 . oops. He hit a great double leg in the first and then worked for the pin! fantastic

The goal is to win the dual. so

no more "gamesmanship" than you might see at a dual with Seaman smile

GE did wrestle very well last night. I was impressed with their talent and their technical skills. It was a great wrestling atmosphere for a dual; the young lady that sang the Star Spangled Banner was terrific, the spotlight over the main event was cool, the fans were rabid, and the wrestlers were battling.

I have to give props to Gardner-Edgerton High School on their support of their wrestlig program. Two mats for JV wrestlers with numerous matches and then the spotlight and music for the varsity dual with the crowd getting into it. How cool was that. Those of us from Lawrence sat in the stands and commented on how great it was to see that. We only wish our community had that much support for our own wrestlers. Was an awesome enviroment to see some good wrestling and so for that I thank you Gardner-Edgerton High!
