...Assistant coaches update: Just returned from Lincoln, Illinois duals. The Cardinals shut out Muskegeon, Michigan in the first match, then defeated host Lincoln handily in the second match losing only three matches, and then finished with 9 wins out of 10 against Ellsworth, Iowa. We forfeited 141. All in all, on the day Labette won26 of the 29 matches wrestled. This weekend we travel to Rochester, Minnesota for another round of dual meets with Iowa Lakes, Iowa Central, Ellsworth, and NIACC community colleges as we continue to wrestle the best competition available in preparing for the NJCAA National Championships in late February. I will add the box scores of this weekend in another post.
