A recent request was made to the KSHSAA to set up a KCWF information/donation booth at the high school state tournaments. We were denied because of a policy that allows only one vendor with an "exclusive merchandising agreement".
Below is the response:
Mr. McCarthy: Thank you for checking with the KSHSAA in advance. There are two key points for you to know: 1. KSHSAA does not permit vendors or exhibitors at its post season events 2. The KSHSAA has an exclusive merchandise agreement with a contracting company to vend KSHSAA state championship shirts etc. NO other organization may sell or give away items of any type. In accordance with the above, your request to set up booths at any and all KSHSAA state wrestling tournament sites cannot be approved.
