Weigh In
7:00 am to 9:00 am on Sunday, February 26, 2012. Wrestling starts at 10:00 am. WALK-INS WELCOME, OUT-OF-STATERS WELCOME. If you wrestle in MO on Saturday, Feb. 25, you DO NOT have to weigh-in again in KS, but must report prior to 9:00 am.
Eligibility
Any girl/woman who is age 5 or older.
Elementary Division
Division for K-5 graders. Matches - 3 min. 1/1/1. HS rules.
Blocked Weights during 2012 season.
Middle School Division
Division for 6-7-8 graders. 4 1/2 min. 1.30/1.30/1.30 HS rules.
65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 140, 155, 180, 220.
High School Division
Division for 9-10-11-12 graders. 6 min. 2/2/2. HS rules.
103, 108, 112, 116, 120, 124, 128, 133, 139, 146, 154, 165, 180, 250.
Collegiate Division
Division. 7 min. 3/2/2. NCAA rules; no riding time.
105, 112, 121, 130, 138, 148, 158, 180, 209, 250.
Insurance
This tournament is insured by the Bob Leid Agency, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, the leading wrestling/team sports insurer in the country. They specialize in wrestling. Policy is available upon request. Send stamped self addressed envelope to the USGWA Director for a copy.
Style
Folkstyle (high school style) rules. National Federation rules book will apply. HEADGEAR MANDATORY, hair netting OPTIONAL. NCAA rules for Collegiate & OPEN Women's Division.
Entry Fee
$25.00 per wrestler if postmarked by February 18, 2012; $30.00 at weigh-in. WALK-INS WELCOME. OUT-OF-STATERS WELCOME.
Individual Awards
Medals to the TOP 4 placers in each weight group in each division.
Uniforms
High School uniforms shall not be worn unless OK'd by your school and your states' high school athletic assn. Elementary, Middle School and College may wear their uniform of choice.
Weigh-In Attire
A singlet is the REQUIRED weigh-in attire.

We will be sending out the information above with the entry form this week. I'm sorry we didn't get it out sooner. We had family problems during the month of January which set us back some. You can download the entry form off of the website www.usgwa.com and meet the first deadline. We also will include information on the USAW-KS Girls state tournament March 17th.

Looking forward to a great tournament on Sunday. Lance, we didn't get Maurin signed up, but she will be there with our other 3 Indy wrestlers. She is 8U and 49 lbs.
