Hey all, I know we generally hate basketball around here, but the NCAA basketball Tourney is really exciting. I set up a challenge for all on this board. Join the group and pick who you think will advance! http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/men Click on "Create or Join Group" and then on "Join existing group" then "Join Private group" and use the number "25421" and the password "usawks" Wait until the tourney is set and pick away! --Nate Shaw

What a stupid thing to put on a wrestling forum. How many basketball forums have a wrestling NCAA pick-em? Zero would be my guess!

There's not really anywhere else to go though. I guess I could give some love to OU though.

We got 6 so far!
And, I know this isn't exactly going out on a limb (I actually make fun of people for making the easy predictions), but Oklahoma State will crush everyone in the NCAA Wrestling Tourney.

There was an interesting thread on high school wrestling/basketball teams and the different results obtained by each. In the NCAA, both Illinois and Ok-State appear to have quality wrestling and basketball programs. Not far behind are Iowa and Oklahoma. Should be good stuff in both sports.

oklahoma state won the big 12 by about 30 points over the second ranked ISU with seven wrestlers winning their bracket. i say it's no question who's going to win. the closest that has gotten to them is OU. i have no doubt that OSU will come home with about 3-4 national champs and a 3rd champ in a row.
Everyone needs an inspiration like Tyler. He fought harder than anyone ever has on a wrestling mat and it was for his life.

Wow, what I have is significantly different.
Oklahoma State beats Louisville, UNC beats Oklahoma in the final four.
UNC beats OSU in championship.

Does anybody think that Illinios will do anything good. I have Wake beating them in the final four. I want my team OU to do good but they gut put into one of the toughest regionals there is.

IMO the the Syracuse and Albuquerque regions are more difficult than the Austin region.

The syracuse regional is tough, but not the Albuquerque regional it is the weakest one of them all. Maybee you ment the Austin regional.

The Syracuse regional is riduculous, however, both the ESPN analysts picked KU to get out of it!

I dont think that they can pull it off that far away from Lawrence. It is much closer for N.C. than it is for KU, that is one slight advantage to it, another advantage is N.C. has a MUCH better coach.
