what are the Senior classic line ups this year and where will it be held??

I don't think the lineup has been released, but the venue is the Topeka Expocentre on March 23rd.

I believe it is Friday evening but what time does it start? I would assume after weigh-in is over for the state qualifiers.

KANSAS WRESTLING ~ SENIOR CLASSIC 2012

CONGRATULATIONS on being selected to participate in the 2012 KWCA SENIOR CLASSIC. Please read the following information and return the Wrestler Profile immediately to Tucker Woofter at Spring Hill High School, FAX number 913-592-2847 or by email to wooftert@usd230.org

Who: Kansas HS senior wrestlers who are selected

Admission: My notes say $3 for adults. $2 for students K to 12. Toddlers free. KWCA Members will be on a Pass Gate. USA Wrestling Coaches and Wrestlers get in free if they show their USA Card!!

Notification: Wrestlers/Coaches will be notified by telephone and/or email. All wrestlers who intend on competing must send wrestler profile to Tucker Woofter, Spring Hill High School (FAX to 913-592-2847 or email to wooftert@usd230.org

Weigh-In: Wrestlers get a ten pound allowance from your HS scratch weight class. Example: 103-pounders can weigh 113, etc. We will offer home site weigh-ins with your high school coach on Thursday, March 22, anytime up until 1 p.m. or wrestlers can weigh-in at site at One Expocentre on Friday, March 23th, at 7 p.m.

Uniforms: Dual singlets will be provided by Blue Chip for competitors to wear during
the event. These must be returned after the meet. All competitors will receive an award, T-shirt and mesh shorts. Shoes, headgear, warm-ups, and shower towel are to be provided by the wrestler.

Format: Dual format. The two wrestlers who are competing in any particular weight will represent the “Big School” team (6A and 5A) or the “Small School” team (4A and 321A). Wrestlers will compete in three two-minute periods with all National Federation folkstyle rules applicable. Red Team will be “Small School” vs. “Big School”.

Introductions: For the pre-meet introductions, each wrestler is asked to have with them a youth wrestler from their community to escort them as they go onto the mat for introductions and handshakes. This was started by the late Bob Cairns and the KWCA wishes to continue this tradition.

USA Card: Each wrestler must have a current USA Wrestling card with them to participate. Cards will be available for purchase for $35.00, or wrestlers must bring proof of their USA card.

Meal: A post-match meal will be provided to the wrestlers and coaches selected for the event after the dual at no cost to the wrestler.

Sponsorship: The Senior Classic is sponsored by the KWCA and USAW-Kansas. This allows us to have a first class event with very minimal cost to the participants. We would like to thank these sponsors for their support of this event.

Pictures: Team pictures will be available at www.outlawsphoto.com . They will be available for view on March 24, 2012. The password is expo The photographer is Renee. Her number is 785-933-3267. This will be her second year doing the photos for this event.

SCHEDULE
4:30 pm – Check-in at Expocentre
1) weigh in (unless you weigh-in at home with HS coach)
2) purchase or show proof of USA card ($30)
3) check out uniform (singlet will be returned after the dual)
5:00 pm – Team Pictures
5:30 pm – Begin warm-ups
7:00 pm – Recognition of State Record Breakers, Wrestler Introductions, National Anthem, WRESTLE!

138/ 195 look real interesting

would really like to see middleton vs son to settle the tie in the all class rankings at 160.
