Folkstyle Nationals in Iowa is closer and twice as tough as Reno Worlds. The cost is a lot less and better competition.

It appears this panhandler is from California, so Reno is a bit closer.

I'd say you'd have better luck finding some gold near San Francisco then getting any sponsorship from these parts. This is Rick Bobby's sponsorship territory.

There is probably 10000 kansas kids that would like for someone else to pay for their wrestling hobby. I've seen this forum used for asking for help for families in need for medical, funeral, etc. expenses, but haven't seen anyone on here asking for money to pay their kids' way to wrestle.....

I'd say get on the California site and ask them.......

Looks like an upcoming stud wrestler! However, like Doug put it, we have thousands of kids who need the money and many studs of our own that would like sponsorship, but most of us pay our own way, unless it's an emergency expense that draws the community together (medical, funeral, etc) for a fundraiser. Good luck to your little warrior!

Isld say save your money and come to a Kansas tournament. From what I've seen through out the year there might be some young Guns that would give him a run for his money!

I don't agree with making highlight videos and putting them on YouTube. I think all it does is paint a big target on the kids back. Save the highlights for the college recruiters. Anybody could take 4 or 5 videos cut out all the good parts and make their first year wrestler look like a total stud.
And this is probably just some scam somebody started. How many idiots are actually gonna send these people money

Last I checked, this was a USAW Kansas forum. We produce some of the best wrestlers in the nation and I think most of us would prefer to support our local homegrown kids. Thanks for the entertainment, but we have our own local talent.
