I can't tell from this post, so I don't know why the District Director acted like he did. As far as the tournament lasting 11 hours, from weigh-in to end of tournament, 11 hours is not unheard of. If they are taking multiple 30-45 minute breaks in between rounds, then I can understand your complaint.

We have been to numerous tournaments over the last eleven years. I was at many more before I had a family of my own, as a Kid's Fed wrestler, high school wrestler, and a Kid's Fed coach. Some of these tournaments will drain the life out of you. Unfortunately, you have two options. Stick with it and grind it out with your wrestler(s), or pack it in.

Did you get mad because he asked you to take pictures from the stands?

Wow, guess I didn't catch this thread/topic soon enough before all the editing!

From this person's point of view:
District 2 venue:
-School/building: Nice enough as buildings/schools go.
-Horrible venue for wrestling this level of a tournament!
-Major downgrade from that of the Sub-District 2 tournament!
-Scoring:
-Why no electronic scoreboard/Table posts?

-Now, I will say that I did appreciate some of the D2 folks trying their best to shew away matside clingers. However, having said that, given the venue, etc... what did we expect would be the matside issues?
