Freestyle / Greco-Roman Wrestling Tournament

at Baldwin High School, 415 Eisenhower Road, Baldwin City KS 66006
FORMAT
*FREESTYLE only tournament
*with GRECO-ROMAN exhibition matches to be paired while Freestyle brackets are being put together
*The brackets will be pool format to maximize matches
*Six mats will be used in the BHS gym
DIVISIONS
Youth, High School, Open
ENTRY FEE
$20 entry fee, $5 more to sign up for exhibition Greco-Roman matches (last year we were able to get all who signed up for this at least 2 GR matches)
REGISTRATION & WEIGH-INS
Friday, April 20:
7-8 p.m. at Baldwin High School (and at various satellite sites to be determined)
*the satellite weigh-in locations will be posted on the USAW-KS FS/GR forum
Saturday, April 21:
7-8 a.m. at Baldwin High School
*Freestyle wrestling will begin as soon as brackets are grouped
WEIGHT CLASSES
*will be grouped after weigh-ins

One satellite weigh-in site will be held in Emporia on Fri night 4/20. Contact me if you would like to host another.
This tourney will have youth, HS, and Open divisions.

Friday night weigh-in options (so far), from 7-8 pm:
Baldwin
Manhattan
Emporia
Mill Valley
Fredonia
Weigh-in hosts will post their address location & contact number.
All weigh-in times will be from 7-8 pm. The satellite weigh-in official will email info to kharris@usd348.com after the weigh-in is complete.
At each weigh-in, be prepared to weigh in with singlet and signify which division you will enter. You will not pay at the satellite weigh-in, pay at BHS when you arrive on Sat am. Be prepared to either purchase a USA card or present your USA card #.

Hope to have a great turnout!
If a kid signs up for both styles he can get 4-6 matches on the day (2 GR and 2-4 FS).
We also have an OPEN division for any collegiate or recent graduates out there that want to get a competition in.
